By October 2026, similar incidents involving pyrotechnic devices were reported in Altenburg and Naila. In Altenburg, a device was detonated against an electrical distribution box, causing significant damage to the housing. In Naila, perpetrators used pyrotechnics to blast a cigarette vending machine from a restaurant wall.
