Koral Bozkurt, a mayoral candidate for Famagusta, has presented various urban development and social policy proposals during his campaign.

Initially, Bozkurt focused on the educational sector by visiting local schools to meet with administrators and educators. He advocated for municipal support of educational environments through improved landscaping, social areas, and sporting facilities, arguing that urban development should prioritize the quality of life for youth and children.

Subsequently, Bozkurt expanded his platform to include commercial and transit infrastructure. He met with tradespeople on Salamis Yolu to propose a holistic urban planning vision for the street. His plan aims to transform the area into a modern environment that integrates commerce, organized transportation, and enhanced pedestrian mobility to support local businesses.

Representing the National Unity Party (UBP), Bozkurt has since unveiled a broader vision for the city’s future during meetings with residents and party members. This expanded platform includes integrated projects focused on infrastructure, transportation, and green spaces. Key objectives include strengthening the city’s connection to its coastline through improved walking areas, implementing smart municipal applications, and increasing public spaces to enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
