The first edition of the Caminhada pela Família (Family Walk) took place on a Sunday morning, involving approximately 1,470 participants from the municipalities of Jandaia do Sul and Marumbi. 

The nine-kilometer route started at Colégio São José, where attendees participated in breakfast and stretching exercises, and ended at the Capela Nossa Senhora Aparecida in the rural community of Maracanã. The event was organized by a parish team under Father Reginaldo Teruel and included 1,230 registrants from Jandaia do Sul and 240 residents from Marumbi. Local businesses and the Jandaia do Sul City Hall supported the initiative to promote religious expression and community ties.
