Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FFAI) has completed the sale of its robotics division to FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem (FFR) in an all-share transaction valued at approximately $200 million. The deal closed on October 23, 2026, leaving FFAI with an expected 65.7% stake in FFR, a Nasdaq-listed entity focused on Embodied AI robotics.

Following the transaction, founder YT Jia will serve as CEO for both Faraday Future and FFR, with Jerry Wang serving as executive chairman for both entities. 

FFR management has set an ambitious shipping target of over 300 robots for October, aiming for a total of approximately 2,000 shipments throughout 2026. This follows the recent launch of a $2,490 humanoid robot intended for developers and educational institutions. To outline future strategic directions and business plans, FFR has scheduled a listing ceremony and investor day for October 26.
