The disagreement began when a passenger, Mumtaz Unnisa, offered a 200-rupee note for a fare of approximately 20 rupees.

Reports indicate that Mukarram was allegedly lured back to the area via a conference call. During the subsequent attack, suspects reportedly struck Mukarram, including an instance where an individual used a motorcycle key to strike him on the head while he was on the ground. Witnesses noted that the assault continued even as Mukarram suffered an epileptic seizure.

Following the incident, police registered a case at the Falaknuma police station. While initial reports identified two suspects in custody, subsequent updates confirmed that four individuals have been arrested in connection with the killing.
