Two separate fatal accidents involving electrical infrastructure have been reported in Romania.

In late August, a 60-year-old man died in Bacău after a concrete electricity pole collapsed onto him. The incident occurred while neighbors were cutting down a tree, which fell onto power lines and caused the pole to detach. Local officials noted that the pole appeared to have cracks and that previous requests regarding leaning poles had remained unresolved.

In mid-September, three men aged 35, 37, and 54 died in the Sohodol area of the Apuseni Mountains. The victims were performing maintenance on a holiday home when a scaffolding structure reportedly made contact with high-voltage power lines, resulting in fatal electrocution.
