In Ica, Peru, four family members were found unconscious in their home in the Manzanilla urbanization. An 84-year-old woman, Luisa Solís Donayre, died at the scene, while three other relatives, including two elderly brothers and a 49-year-old daughter, were hospitalized with apparent signs of poisoning. 

Neighbors alerted authorities after noticing the family had not performed their usual daily routines. An open packet of rodent poison was reportedly found inside the residence, though authorities have yet to confirm this as the cause.
