In Giugliano, near Licola, 16-year-old Manuela Chiarolanza died after a scooter and a car collided; an 18-year-old passenger remains in critical condition. Separately, on the A10 motorway, 22-year-old Valentina Amandola died after her car collided with a heavy vehicle.

Further fatalities have been reported in other regions. In Perugia, two 17-year-olds died after their Mercedes-Benz crashed into a wall near Marsciano; the vehicle was reportedly carrying five minors and overturned after losing control on a curve. In Mondragone, a 23-year-old cyclist from Nepal was killed after being struck by a vehicle; authorities arrested a 52-year-old man, Vincenzo Menale Carbone, who allegedly tested positive for alcohol and narcotics, including cocaine and cannabis, and is accused of road homicide and fleeing the scene.

Additional incidents include a crash in the Giaglione tunnel on the A32 motorway that resulted in two deaths and one injury, and a collision in Ponte Buggianese that left a 19-year-old in critical condition. Recent reports also note a 19-year-old was airlifted to a hospital following a collision in Pistoia, and a Belarusian cyclist was seriously injured in Vertova after colliding with a van.

Authorities are investigating various causes for these accidents, including potential lane crossings, medical emergencies, or driver fatigue.
