On October 31, 2026, an armed attack in Bonito, Brazil, resulted in the deaths of two men. Initial reports identified one victim as Diego Macedo Juiz, 39, an alleged leader of the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) criminal organization. Juiz, who had recently been released from prison, was shot while driving a BMW 320i.

While early reports indicated a passenger was injured and transported to a hospital, subsequent investigations confirmed that both men involved in the incident died. One victim died shortly after arriving at a local hospital, while the second victim died during a medical transfer to Campo Grande.

Civil Police and forensic experts are investigating the shooting, which occurred near the intersection of Rua Dr. Conrado and Rua Pilad Rebua. Authorities are working to identify the perpetrators and are examining a possible connection between the double homicide and the activities of an ultra-violent criminal organization.
