# Fatal traffic accident in Smrekovnica, Kosovo

Two young men, aged 22 and 24, died in a single-vehicle traffic accident on the Mitrovica–Priština highway near the village of Smrekovnica. The victims, identified as Ćendrim Džemajli and Rinor Zejnulahu of Kosovska Mitrovica, were pronounced dead at the scene. 

Following instructions from the prosecutor, the bodies were moved to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy. The Regional Traffic Police unit is investigating the cause of the crash. Faton Peci, the Mayor of Kosovska Mitrovica, issued condolences to the families, stating the loss affects the community.
