In Meru County, police are investigating two separate incidents involving fatalities. In Tigania East, authorities are looking into the death of 20-year-old John Mwenda, who was allegedly stabbed during a confrontation with his elder brother, William Thuranira. Mwenda’s body was found in a farm in Lii Village with injuries to his stomach, head, and arm; a blood-stained panga was recovered at the scene. 

In a separate matter in Igembe South, investigators are examining the discovery of an unidentified man’s body, estimated to be approximately 60 years old, found near the Maua-Antubochio road. Police suspect the individual may have been killed at a different location before being left at the scene.
