Developments: 2. FC Andorra’s recent LaLiga Hypermotion campaign has seen mixed results and logistical challenges. The club ended CD Castelló’s undefeated streak with a 1-0 victory at the Estadi d’Encamp, though the match was marred by controversy after FC Andorra limited the visiting sector to only 200 tickets, leaving hundreds of Castelló supporters unable to enter the stadium. As the season progresses, FC Andorra has struggled near the bottom of the table. Following a 3-2 defeat against Burgos CF at the Estadi de la FAF, the team has fallen into the relegation zone with 10 points, matching the tally of Cádiz. Despite maintaining high possession during the match, the team displayed defensive vulnerabilities. Lautaro and Jordi Cano scored the goals for the home side, but were unable to prevent the victory for Burgos, which was secured by goals from Jon Karrikaburu, Oier Luengo, and a penalty from Curro Sánchez. The defeat follows previous roster difficulties due to suspensions and card accumulations, which had prompted coach Carles Manso to call for increased verticality and more efficient possession. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-26: Burgos CF defeats FC Andorra 3-2 in LaLiga Hypermotion Burgos CF defeated FC Andorra 3-2 in a high-scoring LaLiga Hypermotion match, moving Burgos closer to promotion playoffs while leaving Andorra in the relegation zone. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/fc-andorra-prepares-to-host-burgos-at-estadi-de-la-faf ### 2026-10-10: FC Andorra defeats CD Castelló to end their undefeated streak FC Andorra ended CD Castelló’s undefeated run with a 1-0 victory.
