FC Barcelona is reportedly exploring several defensive reinforcements to bolster their squad. Initial reports indicate the club is monitoring Sporting CP defender Iván Fresneda as a long-term option for the right-back position, particularly as Jules Koundé faces a dip in form and interest from Bayern Munich.

Subsequent reports show the club is also targeting central defensive talent, specifically focusing on young Brazilian players. These targets include Jair Cunha of Nottingham Forest and Arthur Dias of Athletico Paranaense, the latter of whom is reportedly being scouted despite interest from several other clubs.
