Following the international break, where eight FC Nantes players participated in various national team duties, the club has faced increasing squad uncertainty.

As the team prepares to host Clermont Foot, several players remain sidelined. While Sékou Doucouré and Dehmaine Tabibou are expected to return following injury and illness respectively, other absences persist due to knee issues affecting Tylel Tati and Alexis Mirbach. Additionally, attacker Thomas Robinet remains a doubt due to a thigh injury, which follows previous concerns regarding a hamstring issue sustained against ASSE.

Nantes currently occupies 15th place in the standings, while their upcoming opponent, Clermont, sits in 17th.
