FC St. Pauli continues to struggle with a significant away victory drought, failing to win a road match since February against TSG Hoffenheim. This streak includes eight league games and a cup exit, covering travels to locations such as Mönchengladbach, Leipzig, and Hannover.

Coach Florian Kohfeldt has noted the team’s tactical variability and minimal squad turnover following their relegation from the Bundesliga. He highlighted the team’s ability to be difficult to press, citing two fast attackers and playmaker Eric Smith as key components of their style.

As the season progresses, the club has faced mixed player form, with recent signings Marcus Mathisen and Branimir Hrgota moving out of starting positions. Additionally, reports have emerged regarding interest from the Italian club Parma Calcio in player Louis Oppie, who has become a regular starter under head coach Marcel Rapp.

Currently sitting in eighth place with twelve points, the club has been characterized by a high number of draws, recording six ties in ten matches. Their upcoming schedule includes fixtures against SV Darmstadt 98, 1. FC Nürnberg, and 1. FC Magdeburg.
