FCSB coach Laurențiu Reghecampf has highlighted various players within the squad. Initially, Reghecampf praised Algerian player Aymen Boutoutaou, describing him as having ‘Champions League level’ qualities during training, though club owner Gigi Becali noted the player had yet to consistently replicate this form in official matches. Speculation also emerged regarding a potential transfer involving Boutoutaou and striker Steven Nsimba.

Subsequently, the club’s focus shifted toward youth development and leadership. Reghecampf emphasized the potential of 18-year-old striker Alexandru Stoian, viewing him as a significant sporting and financial asset. Additionally, club official Mihai Stoica defended the appointment of Karlo Muhar as captain, stating that while the club had previously misjudged his personality, they now view the Croatian midfielder as an exceptional leader.
