The Empresarias de Galicia association held its X Business Congress, titled ‘Acción e Implicación’, to address the gap between women in executive roles and women in entrepreneurship. Speakers at the congress, including Tona Martínez of AGEF, emphasized the need to foster entrepreneurship among women and youth to generate wealth, noting that practical implementation of equality laws often lags due to unconscious sexism. Later in the month, the Raíces & Trayectorias project concluded its national tour at the Afundación auditorium in Vigo. Driven by the company Diesemm and the Women in Retail association, the event featured seven female executives from national and international companies. These leaders shared experiences regarding strategic decision-making, leadership, and resilience to provide role models for future generations. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-30: Vigo hosts Raíces & Trayectorias to showcase female business leaders The Raíces & Trayectorias initiative concluded its 2026 tour in Vigo, featuring seven female executives sharing leadership insights to inspire new generations of professional women. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/vigo-hosts-races-trayectorias-to-showcase-female-business-leaders ### 2026-10-14: Empresarias de Galicia holds X Business Congress in Vigo The Empresarias de Galicia association hosted its X Business Congress in Vigo, focusing on leadership strategies and the need to increase female entrepreneurship and professional representation. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/empresarias-de-galicia-holds-x-business-congress-in-vigo --- Cite as: Female entrepreneurship and leadership initiatives in Vigo.
