In September 2026, Eduardo Issac “N” was formally linked to a criminal proceeding regarding the feminicide of Karla Margarita Pérez Jiménez, a 22-year-old medical student in Zapopan, Jalisco. 

Pérez Jiménez was reported missing on September 14 after allegedly requesting transportation via a digital platform, a service reportedly provided by Issac “N” on a motorcycle. Her body was discovered on September 16 in a field in the Las Agujas area. 

Following his apprehension in Tala on September 17, Issac “N” was transferred to the Puente Grande penitentiary. A judge has ordered two years of mandatory pretrial detention and established a three-month period to conclude complementary investigations.
