Developments: 2. Ferrero has engaged in successive labor negotiations with Italian trade unions to establish production bonuses and welfare benefits for its workforce. Initially, the company reached an agreement regarding an Objective-Linked Bonus for the 2025/2026 fiscal year. This deal, affecting approximately 7,000 employees across multiple Italian sites, set an average gross bonus exceeding 2,500 euros based on company and plant-specific performance. The agreement also allowed employees to convert portions of their bonus into flexible benefits for healthcare, family assistance, and pensions. Following this, Ferrero signed a more extensive four-year agreement spanning 2026 to 2030. This long-term contract maintains the performance-based bonus structure but includes a scheduled increase to 3,100 euros by the final year. The expanded terms also introduce daily meal vouchers, support for the Alifond supplementary pension fund, and mandatory professional training. Furthermore, the new agreement establishes protocols for union consultation regarding digital transformation, specifically concerning investments in Artificial Intelligence and the monitoring of technostress. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-27: Ferrero and Fiorini Industries reach new labor agreements in Italy Ferrero and Fiorini Industries have reached new labor agreements in Italy, providing thousands of workers with increased bonuses, welfare benefits, and training provisions. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/ferrero-and-fiorini-industries-reach-new-labor-agreements-in-italy ### 2026-09-21: Ferrero agrees on 2025/2026 production bonus with Italian unions Ferrero has agreed with Italian unions to pay a performance bonus exceeding 2,500 euros to approximately 7,000 employees for the 2025/2026 period, with options for welfare conversion. 18 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/ferrero-reaches-agreement-with-unions-on-20252026-production-bonus --- Cite as: Ferrero labor agreements in Italy.
