The 64th Festa do Boi began on October 9, 2026, in Parnamirim, Rio Grande do Norte. Organized by the Associação Norte-Rio-Grandense de Criadores (ANORC) in partnership with local government and SEBRAE, the festival serves as an agribusiness showcase featuring livestock judging, auctions, and business training, alongside musical performances by local artists.

As the event progresses, the focus has expanded to include international trade and environmental sustainability. Through the ‘Motores do Desenvolvimento’ seminar, industry leaders are discussing strategies to expand agricultural exports to markets such as China, the United States, Oceania, and the Middle East, while also evaluating the impact of the Mercosul-European Union trade agreement. Additionally, the water utility company Caern is conducting environmental awareness initiatives at the festival, specifically promoting the responsible disposal and recycling of electronic waste.
