The sixth edition of Festival Vapor took place on October 3 and 4 at the National Railway Museum in Entroncamento, Portugal. The multidisciplinary event combined railway heritage with a steampunk and retrofuturism aesthetic, featuring music, theater, cinema, literature, and scientific activities.

Musical performers included Iolanda, Mayra Andrade, Stereossauro, Fogo Fogo, Rita Vian, and the local band Mandra. While most performances proceeded, a concert by rapper xtinto was canceled due to a severe storm on Saturday.

The festival program also included an automaton factory, board games, upcycling workshops, a book fair, and craft markets. Organizers maintained a focus on accessibility and inclusion, implementing measures for visitors with motor, visual, auditory, and neurodivergent needs, as well as specific initiatives for schools.

Following the event’s success in highlighting the region’s railway heritage, organizers have confirmed that Festival Vapor will return to Entroncamento in 2027.
