The XVIII edition of the FesTVal Television Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz recognized various Spanish television programs and professionals. 

Earlier in the festival, the dating show ‘First Dates’ was awarded the 2026 Joan Ramón Mainat Prize, celebrating its ten-year history on the Cuatro network. Producer César Benítez and journalist Pepa Bueno were also named recipients of the Joan Ramón Mainat Award.

As the festival concluded, RTVE received multiple honors, including recognition for its 70th anniversary, the series ‘Valle Salvaje’, and Jesús Cintora. Journalist Pepa Bueno was honored for her three-decade career across radio, print, and television. Additionally, Iker Jiménez and Carmen Porter received recognition for the program ‘Horizonte’, which recently transitioned to a daily format on Cuatro following audience success.
