Olympic bronze medalist Ami Nakai has transitioned from a focus on her specialized training methods to securing new commercial endorsements.

Initially, attention was drawn to the “non-angry coaching” style employed by MF Academy coaches Kensuke Nakaniwa and Shinzo Ikegami. This approach prioritizes autonomy, logical roadmaps, and constructive planning over traditional high-pressure or intimidating methods to foster an athlete’s potential.

Following these developments, Nakai signed a partnership agreement with Under Armour during the ‘UNDER ARMOUR BRAND SUMMIT 2026’. As a member of ‘TEAM UA’, she will collaborate with the brand to support her competitive career and engage the next generation of athletes.
