PARCO GAMES and Japanese creative studio Lidlocks have announced that the interactive adventure game ‘Finding Polka’ is being developed for the Nintendo Switch. The game features hand-drawn illustrations created entirely with ballpoint pens and follows a character named Frendy on a search for a dog named Polka. To convey its narrative, the title relies on expressive animation and sound design rather than traditional dialogue.

The Nintendo Switch version is expected to include significant additional content, such as new characters and stages, which will also be released on Steam. The project has received several accolades, including the TGS2026 Selected Indie 80 Excellence Awards Platinum and the gamescom Award 2026 Most Wholesome. While a playable version was scheduled for demonstration at the Tokyo Game Show 2026, a specific release date and price for the Switch edition have not yet been announced.
