Developments: 7. The Finnish Superpesis playoffs have concluded for the women’s division, while the men’s championship series remains ongoing. In the women’s finals, Jussittaret of Seinäjoki has claimed the championship title after defeating Manse PP of Tampere in a highly competitive series. Following a fourth game where Manse PP secured a victory to force a deciding fifth match, Jussittaret won the final game with a score of 3–2. The deciding match was played under challenging weather conditions, characterized by heavy rain that made field play difficult and impacted ball movement. Jussittaret’s victory marks a period of steady progression for the club, moving from a fourth-place finish in 2023 to a bronze medal in 2024, and now to the championship. Key contributors to this title run included Riikka Polso, Aino-Kaisa Mantere, and Matilda Niskakangas, with Tiia Peltonen providing strength as a primary substitute. This win allows Jussittaret to overcome the long-standing dominance of Manse PP. In the men’s competition, Vimpelin Veto holds a 1–0 lead against Sotkamon Jymy after a decisive super inning in the first game. The championship series continues in Sotkamo, with the first team to three wins claiming the title. ## Claims - The Women's Superpesis finals series is currently tied at 1–1.
