In late October 2026, several fire incidents were reported in the Neuquén region of Argentina. An early morning blaze in the La Sirena neighborhood of Neuquén destroyed a residential apartment and damaged an adjacent house, leaving one tenant to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Subsequent fires occurred in San Martín de los Andes and Villa La Angostura. In San Martín de los Andes, a fire in the Chacra 4 neighborhood completely destroyed a home, resulting in the total loss of the resident's belongings. A separate fire near the Belvedere Lookout in Villa La Angostura also left a family without their possessions. These incidents prompted local community members to launch solidarity campaigns and donation drives to provide construction materials, food, clothing, and financial assistance to those affected.
