Two separate fires occurred at commercial locations in Mumbai within ten days of each other.

On October 20, a fire broke out at the Amarsons department store on Bhulabhai Desai Road in South Mumbai near Breach Candy Hospital. Emergency responders, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade and local police, were dispatched to the scene. No injuries were reported.

On October 30, a second fire was reported at the Foo restaurant within the VN Sphere Mall in Bandra West. The blaze began around 5:30 AM and affected the kitchen and dining areas. The Mumbai Fire Brigade declared a Level-II fire call, and while heavy smoke created zero-visibility conditions, the fire was eventually brought under control with no reported injuries.
