In early October, a fire destroyed two furniture shops near the Medchal Checkpost on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The blaze consumed timber, foam, and mattresses, causing approximately ₹20 lakh in property damage. No casualties were reported, and firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to adjacent businesses.

Later in the month, a fire broke out at a timber depot near the Sitarama Temple in the Kukatpally area of Telangana. The fire spread from the depot to nearby huts, destroying homes and belongings. While reports on casualties varied, one account stated that two people were injured and hospitalized. Officials suspect the fire may have been caused by individuals lighting firewood for mosquito control.
