The 2026 FIS Ski Jumping Summer Grand Prix was held at the Valea Cărbunării Olympic Complex in Râșnov, Romania, serving as a rehearsal for the 2027 European Youth Olympic Festival. The event featured 80 athletes from 19 nations.

In the women’s competition, Anna Twardosz of Poland achieved a historic victory by winning both days of the event. Following a strong training session where she jumped 93 meters, her performance marked a significant breakthrough for Polish women's ski jumping. Twardosz attributed her success to consistent daily work and technical guidance from Stefan Horngacher, the national team coordinator appointed in June. She noted that training with Horngacher in Hinzenbach helped her address technical issues, specifically her ‘V-style ski positioning during the flight phase.’

Stefan Hula, assistant to head coach Marcin Bachleda, remarked that the team had recognized her potential during training. He noted that while the wins in Râșnov build vital confidence, the team must maintain momentum heading into the winter season. Her podium appearances included Ringo Miyajima of Japan and Bing Dong of China on the first day, and Ping Zeng of China and Ema Klinec of Slovenia on the second.

In the men’s competition, Naoki Nakamura of Japan secured a victory on September 19, placing him at the top of the general standings heading into the final stage. He was followed by Jason Colby of the USA and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal of Norway.
