Preparations are underway across various Italian venues for upcoming FIS World Cup events. In the Carezza Dolomites, officials conducted summer inspections to review preparations for the FIS Snowboard World Cup, specifically focusing on parallel giant slalom events scheduled for December 17, 2026. Organizers plan to optimize the Pra di Tori slope and athlete training areas, including the exclusive rental of a snow groomer to prepare the course.

In other regions, FIS technicians inspected Val Gardena to prepare for men’s World Cup speed events on December 18-19, which include a super-G and a classic descent. A scheduling adjustment has been implemented to start races at 12:00 to improve lighting conditions. Additionally, preparations are progressing in Cortina d’Ampezzo for women’s World Cup races at the Olympia delle Tofane track, scheduled for January 15-17, featuring two descents and a super-G.
