Citizens of various ages in Ceuta participated in a symbolic civil and popular flag oath ceremony at Paseo del Revellín. Organized by the associations Renace Ceuta and Salvemos Ceuta, the event was described as an expression of commitment to the city and Spain rather than an official military ceremony.

The event featured the Spanish national anthem performed by the Ciudad de Ceuta municipal band. Following the ceremony, participants marched to Plaza de los Reyes to read a manifesto, which was delivered to Government Delegate David de la Encina for transmission to the national government. Organizers stated the initiative aimed to unite different generations in a gesture of respect toward the flag.
