Flamengo is undergoing various organizational and personnel changes as it prepares for the 2027 season. The club reached an agreement for scouting chief Andrii Fedchenkov to join Liverpool in January 2027, following the completion of his current commitment in December 2026. On the pitch, the club is working toward contract extensions for defender Léo Pereira and veteran Danilo, while managing tactical adjustments regarding striker Pedro and Joaquín Freitas.

Strategic planning for the football department includes evaluating a proposal to appoint Edu Gaspar as head of football to succeed José Boto, whose contract expires in December.

Commercial developments have progressed with the Shopee sponsorship renewal. The Deliberative Council approved the agreement for the 2027 season, which includes an annual payment of R$ 14 million. As part of this expanded partnership, the club launched a third exclusive official jersey: a black design with tonal vertical stripes and the phrase “Tua Glória é Lutar,” sold exclusively on the Shopee platform.

Regarding player personnel, negotiations for defender Léo Pereira to extend his contract until December 2029 have reportedly reached an understanding on the term, but remain stalled due to disagreements over salary and financial terms. Additionally, Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz has expressed a desire to return to Brazil, citing family reasons and a strong connection to Flamengo as his priority for a potential move in the upcoming season.
