Nathalie Belizaire, a 29-year-old resident of North Miami Beach, Florida, was arrested following allegations that she left her four minor children unsupervised for three days while she went on a cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Carnival Conquest.

The children, ranging in age from two months to nine years, were discovered by authorities hiding in a bathroom after the father of the infant alerted 911. The father reportedly became suspicious after seeing a WhatsApp post regarding the purchase of cruise tickets. Although Belizaire had allegedly claimed the children would be staying with their great-grandmother, investigators confirmed the children never arrived at that residence.

Belizaire faces four felony counts of child neglect without great bodily harm. During court proceedings, a judge set her bond at $10,000 and issued a stay-away order prohibiting her from contacting the children. While Belizaire’s attorney has denied the allegations, authorities confirmed the children were found without adult supervision on September 26.
