Captain Aleksander Barkov remains on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) following a lower-body injury, with medical evaluations ongoing to determine the duration of his absence. While veteran forward Brad Marchand previously returned to the lineup, he has since sustained a lower-body injury in California. The team also continues to manage the absence of defenseman Aaron Ekblad, who is sidelined for personal reasons, though Gustav Forsling has returned to the lineup. Despite these setbacks, the Panthers lead the Atlantic Division after earning six points during a four-game road trip consisting of two wins and two overtime losses.
