In an Italian Prima Categoria match between Lacco Ameno and Real S. G. Frattaminore, play was suspended at the Patalano stadium following a brawl on the pitch during the 89th minute. During the incident, a stone was thrown from outside the stadium, striking the referee in the head. 

ASD Lacco Ameno 2013 released a statement describing the act as “unqualifiable and criminal,” clarifying that the perpetrator was not a supporter and pledging cooperation with law enforcement to identify those responsible.
