On September 20, 2026, a group of Beerschot supporters attacked a bus carrying approximately 80 KV Mechelen fans at a parking lot on the E313 highway in Geel-West, Belgium. The attackers threw beer bottles at the vehicle, damaging windows and stealing a license plate, though no injuries were reported.

Following the incident, Belgian police used camera footage to identify sixteen individuals, resulting in twelve immediate stadium bans. The KV Mechelen supporters' club, De Paarse Propere Handen, issued an apology and suspended all bus travel during an internal evaluation.

By September 26, reports indicated a broader trend of supporter violence in the region, including a large brawl in Eindhoven, Netherlands, involving approximately 70 supporters from VVV-Venlo and PSV Eindhoven.
