In early October, Growth Partners and the language exchange platform Manabine established a partnership to address labor shortages. This collaboration focuses on an integrated system involving recruitment from countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, and Indonesia, combined with pre-arrival language learning and post-arrival lifestyle support to prevent social isolation. By mid-October, regional support was highlighted in Shimane Prefecture, where Meiko Career Partners was selected to provide online Japanese language training for technical intern trainees and specified skilled workers. Supported by Shimane Prefecture through subsidies, the program utilizes the ‘Japany’ e-learning system to provide business and daily life language proficiency, aiming to prevent the outflow of foreign human resources to other regions. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-19: Meiko Career Partners to provide Japanese language support in Shimane Meiko Career Partners will provide online Japanese language e-learning via ‘Japany’ to support foreign workers in Shimane Prefecture, aiming to improve retention in local small and medium-sized enterprises. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/meiko-career-partners-to-provide-japanese-language-support-in-shimane ### 2026-10-05: Growth Partners and Manabine partner to support foreign talent in Japan Growth Partners and Manabine have partnered to provide integrated recruitment, Japanese language training, and lifestyle support to help foreign workers settle and thrive in Japan. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/growth-partners-and-manabine-partner-to-support-foreign-talent-in-japan --- Cite as: Foreign talent support initiatives in Japan.
