According to the investigation, Kthjella entrusted the cash to Osmani for safekeeping to avoid leaving it in her residence during a cleaning scheduled at her home. Osmani reportedly claimed the funds were in a safe but stated she had forgotten the code. When the safe was opened, the money was missing. Osmani later alleged the funds had been deposited into her bank account but were inaccessible due to frozen accounts from enforcement procedures. Osmani faces a potential prison sentence of up to five years if convicted.
