A collection of memorabilia belonging to the late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury is scheduled for auction in London this October. The items comprise the Reinhold Mack Collection, an archive provided by German producer Reinhold Mack and his son, Freddie Mack.

Key items in the auction include a Yamaha C3 grand piano used at Munich’s Musicland Studios for composing solo material and recording Queen hits such as ‘The Game’, ‘Hot Space’, and ‘The Works’. The piano is estimated to be valued between £200,000 and £400,000. Also featured is an AKG C414 EB microphone used for Mercury’s vocals, with an estimated value of £40,000 to £80,000, alongside handwritten lyric drafts from his 1985 solo album, ‘Mr. Bad Guy’.

Prior to the auction, the collection is slated for public display at The Cumberland Hotel in London from September 23 to 27.
