Olympic biathlon champion Émilien Jacquelin has committed to continuing his professional cycling career with the Decathlon-CMA CGM team for the 2027 season. This decision involves a shift away from the biathlon World Cup during the 2026-2027 winter season to focus on professional cycling.

In related developments for the 2026/2027 winter season, La Chaîne L'Equipe has recruited Antonin Guigonnat and Jean-Paul Giachino as biathlon consultants.
