The French luxury jewellery sector is highlighted by the heritage of houses such as Chaumet and the ongoing rollout of Cartier’s ‘Le Chœur des Pierres’ high jewellery collection.

Chaumet is noted for its historical ties to Napoleon and its long-standing presence at 12 Place Vendôme. Meanwhile, Cartier has progressed through stages of its ‘Le Chœur des Pierres’ collection, which focuses on the unique character of individual gemstones.

Following an initial phase involving nearly 400 artisans and 85,000 hours of labor, the collection’s second chapter was unveiled at the Kyoto National Museum in Japan. This installment featured 46 new pieces, including the Stellara necklace containing a 41-carat Ceylon sapphire. The brand intends to reach a total of 250 pieces by the third chapter, scheduled for release in Hawaii next year.
