Sources: 6. Developments: 3. Ruka Nakagawa, a member of the idol group FRUITS ZIPPER, has faced ongoing health issues that have impacted her professional schedule. Following a limited appearance at a concert in Aichi Prefecture on September 25, Nakagawa canceled a scheduled appearance on the NHK program ‘Nodojiman’ on September 27. As her health concerns persisted, the group announced that Nakagawa would also miss two upcoming tour performances in Osaka scheduled for September 30 and October 1 at the Grand Cube Osaka Main Hall. During the initial period of her illness, management agency Asobi System issued a warning regarding online harassment, stating they might take legal action against those spreading “unfounded rumors and speculative posts” on social media. On October 10, the group announced that Nakagawa will take an indefinite hiatus from all activities. This decision follows a medical diagnosis determining that she requires a period of rest and recuperation. The hiatus comes shortly after Nakagawa had announced a solo debut scheduled for September 2026. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-10: Runa Nakagawa of FRUITS ZIPPER announces indefinite hiatus due to health FRUITS ZIPPER member Runa Nakagawa is taking an indefinite hiatus from all activities due to health issues following medical advice. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/runa-nakagawa-of-fruits-zipper-announces-indefinite-hiatus-due-to-health ### 2026-09-30: FRUITS ZIPPER's Ruka Nakagawa to miss Osaka tour dates due to ill health FRUITS ZIPPER member Ruka Nakagawa will miss two scheduled tour performances in Osaka on September 30 and October 1 due to ongoing health issues. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/fruits-zippers-ruka-nakagawa-to-miss-osaka-tour-dates-due-to-ill-health ### 2026-09-26: FRUITS ZIPPER's Ruka Nakagawa cancels NHK appearance due to ill health FRUITS ZIPPER member Ruka Nakagawa will miss an NHK broadcast due to poor health, while her agency warns of legal action against social media rumors and harassment. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/fruits-zippers-ruka-nakagawa-cancels-nhk-appearance-due-to-ill-health --- Cite as: FRUITS ZIPPER member Ruka Nakagawa health issues.
