Fuel quality monitoring efforts in Central Europe have shown varying results through mid-2026. Out of 817 samples tested in Poland, four instances of non-compliance were identified, all involving diesel fuel. These failures occurred at stations in the Lublin, Lubuskie, Mazowieckie, and Pomorskie voivodeships. Detected issues included excessive sulfur content, improper oxidative stability, and low ignition temperatures, which may indicate contamination with lighter fractions. Inspectors have since reviewed the suppliers of the non-compliant products.
