The California-based group Fuerza Regida has received multiple nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, including Best Latin for the track ‘TU SANCHO’. This recognition is noted as a significant moment for the ‘corridos tumbados’ genre, as no representative from the genre has previously won the Best Latin category at the VMAs.

Following these nominations, the group announced dates for their ‘This Is Our Dream Tour’ in Mexico City at the Palacio de los Deportes for February 2027. Due to the sell-out of initial shows, the performance schedule has been expanded to include February 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, 2027.
