Fundación Telmex-Telcel has launched a scholarship program in Mexico offering up to 5,000 grants to students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in their first through penultimate periods of study and maintain a minimum grade point average of 8.5 without failed subjects.

In addition to monthly financial stipends, the program provides computer equipment, internet access, and participation in workshops. Recipients are also required to complete the ASUME program, which focuses on human development and personal responsibility. 

As the program progressed, specific deadlines were established: online applications were set to close on September 22, 2026, followed by a deadline for physical file submissions on September 29, 2026.
