The Fundação Campeões do Amanhã, a João Pessoa City Hall initiative, has demonstrated success across multiple sporting disciplines.

In swimming, the foundation’s delegation of 31 athletes secured third place overall at the Paraibano Swimming Championship in Campina Grande, earning 66 medals. Notable individual performance included Giovanna Moura, who won four gold medals and one silver in the Junior 1 category.

In football, the foundation’s Sub-15 team reached the Copa Paraíba final following a 1-0 victory against Botafogo-PB at Almeidão Stadium. The decisive goal was scored by Jonas. Officials noted the achievement is particularly significant because much of the squad consists of players from the Sub-14 age group competing in a higher category.

In the final match held at Almeidão Stadium, the team finished as runners-up after a 2-0 defeat against VF4. João Pessoa Mayor Leo Bezerra celebrated the performance, emphasizing the municipal government’s commitment to using sports and culture as tools for social inclusion. Established in 2021, the project currently serves more than 400 students, providing free football training at Arena da Graça.

Kaio Márcio, president of the foundation, noted the significant evolution of the young athletes since the project's inception. Additionally, the foundation is represented in triathlon events at the Youth Games in Foz do Iguaçu by athletes Eduardo Sousa Carvalho and Victor Machado.
