Higashikawa Town in Hokkaido, Japan, has initiated a series of furniture and craft exhibitions in Taiwan to promote cultural and commercial exchange. The program features 13 woodworking brands and artisan workshops, showcasing designs that range from traditional Japanese craftsmanship to contemporary functional pieces.

The initiative involves multiple venues, including a major exhibition at Huashan 1914 Creative Park, a curated selection at the Dann Bed Renai flagship store, and a partnership between the Taoyuan and Higashikawa governments at the Daxi Public Hall. To support long-term cooperation, New Home Sofa and Dann Bed signed Memorandums of Understanding with the Higashikawa Town government, aiming to establish Taiwan as a primary overseas market for the region’s woodworking industry.
