FX has ordered a new limited series titled ‘Legends,’ a meta-thriller developed by and starring Charlie Hunnam. The project reunites much of the original cast from the motorcycle drama ‘Sons of Anarchy,’ including Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates, and Theo Rossi.

In this series, the actors will play fictionalized versions of themselves rather than reprising their original characters. The plot centers on the cast reuniting at a fan convention more than a decade after their original show ended, where they encounter a real-world threat. 

While original creator Kurt Sutter has given his blessing to the project, he is not involved in the production. The series is being developed alongside Jonathan Groff and will be produced by FX Productions and 20th Television.
