Business leaders and initiatives in Galicia are receiving various regional recognitions. In late September 2026, José García Costas, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra, Vigo, and Vilagarcía de Arousa, was awarded the Gold Medal of the Order of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce for his career and efforts in regional chamber integration. Additionally, Marián Mouriño, president of Real Club Celta, was selected for the 2026 Gold Medal from the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia, citing her leadership and business career.

Concurrently, the Xunta de Galicia has named three finalists from the Ourense province for the 2026 Galician Trade Awards (Premios do Comercio Galego). These finalists include Ourense Centro in the Dynamization category, Bermello Electrodomésticos for the Trajectory Award, and the artisan workshop Pato Joyeros.
