In mid-September, Lenovo introduced the LOQ Tower 17IRH11 in Europe, a gaming PC utilizing mobile Intel Core 200H series processors with desktop NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics. During the same period, Lenovo and ASUS products, including the Legion 27-15 monitor and ASUS Vivobook Go 15, were subject to substantial discounts in Japan. By late September, discount trends extended to MSI and ASUS gaming components. The MSI Aegis ZS2 gaming PC, equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card, reached a 30-day low of $2,199.99. Concurrently, the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 laptop saw a price reduction of £600, bringing its price to £1,599.99. In early October, retail discounts expanded to include broader laptop categories. ASUS Vivobook models, such as a 15.6-inch FHD version with an Intel Core 3 100U processor, were noted at $409.99 on Amazon, with other configurations available through Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. Additionally, Microsoft’s 15-inch Surface Laptop (2024) saw a $700 discount on Amazon, priced at $1,499. Driven in part by Amazon sales events like Prime Big Deal Days, significant price reductions continued across gaming hardware and peripherals. LG implemented substantial discounts on its UltraGear monitor lineup, including a $500 reduction on the 45-inch OLED monitor (45GX950B-B) in the US, alongside various 27-inch and 39-inch OLED models. In Japan, ASUS offered discounts on several monitors, including the 24.5-inch VG259QMR5A and ProArt professional displays. Peripheral brands also saw cuts, with Logitech discounting the G512 X 75 and G515 RAPID TKL keyboards, while Razer’s Tartarus V2 keypad was also reduced. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-08: HP and Lenovo devices see price reductions at major retailers Retailers PcComponentes and MediaMarkt are offering discounts on HP laptops with OLED screens and Lenovo tablets bundled with keyboards and pens. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/hp-and-lenovo-devices-see-price-reductions-at-major-retailers ### 2026-10-07: Acer gaming hardware sees price drops on monitors and laptops Acer gaming hardware is seeing notable discounts, including a 1440p OLED monitor for $270 and the Nitro V 16S AI laptop reduced to $1,231.99. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/acer-gaming-hardware-sees-price-drops-on-monitors-and-laptops ### 2026-10-07: LG, ASUS, and Logitech offer major discounts on gaming hardware LG, ASUS, Logitech, and Razer are offering significant discounts on gaming monitors, keyboards, and peripherals during major retail sales events. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/lg-asus-and-logitech-offer-major-discounts-on-gaming-hardware ### 2026-10-04: ASUS and Microsoft laptops see significant retail discounts Retailers are offering major discounts on laptops, including ASUS Vivobook models starting at $409.99 and Microsoft’s 15-inch Surface Laptop with Snapdragon X Elite for $1,499. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/asus-and-microsoft-laptops-see-significant-retail-discounts ### 2026-09-25: Gaming hardware discounts hit MSI desktops and ASUS laptops Gaming hardware deals include a discounted MSI Aegis ZS2 desktop with an RTX 5070 and a £600 price drop on the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 laptop featuring Ryzen 9 and RTX 5070 specs. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/gaming-hardware-discounts-hit-msi-desktops-and-asus-laptops ### 2026-09-14: Lenovo and ASUS hardware see new releases and major discounts Lenovo unveils a hybrid mobile-desktop gaming tower in Europe, while various Lenovo and ASUS devices see major discounts on Amazon Japan. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/lenovo-tab-plus-tablet-on-sale-at-amazon-japan --- Cite as: Gaming hardware releases and consumer discounts.
